Competition For Pro-Am Linedance

The competition will consist of two different divisions:

1.   35 and under - Over 35
2.   Beginner Dances / Intermediate Dances / High Intermediate or Advanced Dances
      (Easy, Medium or Hard)

You will choose your own dance and music. However, you MUST bring the step sheet so we can see what dance has been selected.

If more than one Pro/Am chooses the same dance and song, then you will all dance together, otherwise each Pro/Am will dance alone. The Pro can have up to four "Ams" dancing with them. (Several students can dance with one teacher.) Students can also dance with different teachers. Eg: one dance with teacher A, another dance with teacher B and another dance with teacher C. Or any combo of this. (two and one)

There will be 1 1/2 minutes for each dance. One vanilla and then anything goes. No costume rules - just proper attire.

$10 per dance. Three dances maximum. Register and pay at the door on Friday by 3PM. Competion will be Saturday at 11AM. There will be 1st, 2nd and 3rd place medals given out. There will be five judges and you will be judged on how well you dance the dance for your category and your enthusiasm (are you having fun?, etc)

There must be five couples in a category for it to be run. Eg: 35 and under / beg. dances ---- over 35 / beg. dances ---- 35 and under / int. dances ---- over 35 / int. dances, etc. Please bring your own music.

YOU MUST PURCHASE A WEEKEND PASS TO PARTICIPATE!!
